I think this selection will give you the seasons in the chronological order they happened in, so players will go through dips, and weird seasons when they didn't play a lot (or in some cases at all). I don't know what the Peak Seasons setting would do. Does it stack the player's seasons in order of godliness? I don't know.
I use 5-year, double weighted recalc in my HRD games, so that the guys who went off to war or lost multiple years to injuries will have as many numbers as possible to go off of. I used to use Neutered Stats, but I switched to Real Stats with the 5-year double weighted, and it gets me what I want to see, so I'm good with it.
