The Game between the Newark Thieves and Jones Beach Jets got very heated today as Matt Kinney threw at Alan Harper. Newark won the game 10-6 as Fred Dunlap drove in 3 runs and Joe Riggert hit a grand slam, but the game was marred by ugliness. Kinney dropped Harper with a fast ball that almost decapitate the Sherman Oaks chiropractor. Harper frustrated because of his alimony payments and lack of girl reaction charged the mound and punches were thrown. Most would say Kinney got the best of Harper. Harper commented after the game "not my best moments, I tend to be the peacemaker my brother Charlie is the problem. I have a black eye and sore ribs and regret my actions" Kinney on the other hand had another take "I couldn't take it any more, that guy kept stepping out of the batter's box and asking for time so I flattened him on his back and let him eat a few punches"

Harper got suspended 2 games while Kinney got 6.
