Agree with the prior posts/responses, and would add this. Managing (batter by batter, not pitch by pitch) takes time; although I love the in-game strategy and granular detail, plus longer-term handling pitchers and resting players. But managing a team for 154 or 162 games takes many hours, and obviously slows down season sims. For me, no matter how finely I tune the manager AI and set lineups and rotations, he doesn’t always make the decisions I would. Fortunately the games lets you auto-play for a few games or weeks or even months. So, like others I may let the game coast through a season, stopping to manage critical games. I have yet to make it through an entire season managing every game. Some day!
