Year 2022 (Stone) [beginning]
Promoted to Stone League for the Year 2022.
We made some big changes in the off season. Primarily, we sold off Don Sutton and Nomar Garciaparra, both of whom were essential to winning the Rookie League in 2021. But more importantly, at this point both retained good value. I wanted to raise funds for building up a Silver and then a Gold tourney team. I also wanted to purchase some Future Legends. I always liked that set. Fond memories of trotting out a Future Legends squad in PT19.
On Sunday, I pulled a 90 Snapshot Melido Perez from a Twitch stream pack. Perez should ease the pain of losing Sutton. He's going to walk a ton, though.

As I acquire FL pitching, look to see them in the bullpen, where I'm still running 4 silvers: Vic Darensbourg, Stew Cliburn, Tom Marti, and FL Dane Dunning.
There was a question as to whether I would see Lave Cross, whom I pulled on Saturday from a tourney pack. Well, he'll be batting third and/or cleanup this season. He's just too intriguing a player for me.
