It’s never too early for the injury bug to wreck things… Slam Diego’s Fernando Tatis Jr will miss ~4 weeks due to a strained oblique suffered on Opening Day. Not great – we need our most exciting players to stay healthy. Let’s hope he recovers fully and with the quickness…
We’re off today as we patiently wait for the much-ballyhooed Chicago White Sox to saunter into town for a 3-game set. Not everyone had the day off, of course… Austin Dean put in some work against Cincinnati – a double, two jacks, and 3 RBI in a 9-2 win for STL – and Marcell Ozuna got after it against Philadelphia as he went 4 for 4 with a double, a dinger, and 3 runs during the Braves’ unfortunate 5-7 loss on the road.
Up Next: Back at it against the formidable Chicago White Sox.
