So, with the new baseball season nearly upon us, I decided to play some OOTP20 again and it has been awhile since I played. I want to try setting up a Fictional League, but when you start one, there isn't any historical statistics. I remember how to set everything up, sim for "X" amount of years and start from there.
However, I want to set up a fictional league structure, set up the rules and have the same base statistical history each time I want to start over in this particular universe of mine. I am not sure how to do this.
For example, if I start a standard historical game in OOTP in 1980, you can get all the historical stats through 1979. For my fictional universe, I want to be able to set up a "historical fictional league" where I can start in say 1980 each time, with the same history prior to then.
I have tried the suggestions from all my searching, but nothing is working.
How do I go about doing this?
