I've tried everything on your list above that I can. I'm running Windows 10 Pro, I've defraged, turned off the Steam overlay etc. I get "not responding" as soon as it hits "Assigning Logos and Pictures". Very frustrating. I'm soon to ask for my money back if I can't get this working.
