Down on the Farm: The Shreveport Sports (TEX) won at the Mobile BayBears (SL), 4 to 2, to win the Dixie Cup, the AA Championship between the Southern League and the Texas League, in 6 games. SS Greg Hunt (30-R) was named the series MVP. He was 6 for 12 (.500) with a double and a home run, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBI. Obviously, he is no prospect playing in AA at age 30...
