Red Sox at Yankee Stadium--man on second with no outs, the batter hit a fly ball to right field and the screen froze with the ball in the air. Having experienced the same "glitch" in OOTP 21 I wasn't alarmed because I expected a decision box to pop up and ask if I wanted to send the runner. It did and I opted to send him but there was no play at third. In fact there was no play at all. The screen went blank for a moment, the game returned, and that's when I learned that my runner had been thrown out. When I replayed it everything looked great, but it seems to me that the play should have been shown without the need for a replay.

That said, the graphics in 22 are quite an upgrade. Kudos!
