He is definitely no stiff on the mound!
I wonder how Night Demon Archaki feels since he was doing just fine as the closer before (Just looked it up--he loves Mgr Craig Robinson, so he's all good). I don't think GM Brendan Kneecapped cares since the Party Boys may not have the most complete pitching staff in the CBO. Sure they don't have a dominant ace like Mike Cartrette or Tim Fusion or Sheng Kawolski, but every pitcher gives them a chance to win every game.
As far as Angelou is concerned, I just realized when checking out his stats that he is not a rookie and I need to quit referring to him as such. He was actually on the roster enough games in 2296 and 2298 to make him officially a second-year player with this now being his first year as a full-time starter.
Still, he most certainly had a ratings jump in Year 4 of the league. He was the Party Boys' 11th-round pick in the 2296 Inaugural draft, but he had not shown the talent to play over some of the other guys. It may have been his fortune to see Jones get hurt or he may have never seen the field and would have ended up somewhere else.
