Another thing in addition to what has been said is to look for older players who have already reached some of their potential. For example, let’s say two pitchers have 60 stuff/movement/ and control potential and one is 18 and one is 22. Everything else is equal, but the 18 year old has 20/25/20 current ratings and the 22 year old has 40/35/30. I will draft the 22 year old because their potentials will likely change over the course of their development, and the 22 year old has already reached some of his. In the later rounds I am more likely to go for the high school kid because I want TCR to change the potential of somebody who doesn’t have any.
