5 June 2299 - Martinson Collects Player of the Week Award
Veteran John Martinson had a great week at the plate for the Gatorclaws to capture the majority of votes for Player of the Week in the Nuka World League.
The 33-year-old Wild right fielder built a .393 average on the strength of 11 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs and 8 RBIs.
So far this season Martinson has gotten 39 hits in 159 at-bats for a .245 batting average with 4 home runs. His stats include 18 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has played in 42 games.
