Perhaps there is some way to address this in 'commissioner mode' but I wouldn't know about that.
That aside, about the only thing I can think of is to rid yourself now of some the arb-eligible players you don't think you will want to keep. (trade, waivers, taking them off the 40-man roster - and active roster - if they clear waivers, etc.) Of course, if they are of use to you this season, that poses another problem and makes this idea impractical.
