base runners
Good point. I've never seen a runner thrown out at any base ever! I can see faster runners making it but slow runners should have a greater chance of failure. Now a few years ago the Indians had a Firstbasman who was slow as molasses but was real good at anticipating balls in the dirt would get past the catcher and taking 2nd.
