Is it too late to ask?

I've never engaged in the 'what I'd like to see in the next version of ootp' threads because I haven't the faintest clue about programming and, therefore, what is legitimately do-able.

But I'm excited about the new season ahead and I have two simple and specific requests for OOTP22; and I'm hoping it's not too late to see them implemented.

1) Can we put to rest the idea that the Padres owner is a penny pincher?
I mean, AJ Preller was first allowed to spend like crazy about six years ago (seems longer now). They blew that team up quickly. Understandable.
Three years ago the signed Hosmer to an unfortunate long term deal, just to spend some money I guess.
Two years ago they gave Manny 10 X $30m.
And now they've built the first serious NL West team to threaten the Dodgers in almost a decade by absorbing the Snell and Darvish contracts and adding pretty much whatever they felt they needed to get the job done.
AND they doled out the Tatis contract.
I'm a Blue Jays fan and I know how penny-pinching owners and management operate and speak (well, at least since AA left and until this offseason).
The San Diego owner is definitely not a penny pincher.

2) Now that the Mets have an owner who is fully engaged - both emotionally and financially - can the devs 'un-do' the code that intentionally sabotages the Mets in each new version of the game?

OK. That second request was written with tongue firmly in cheek. I hope I didn't sabotage my first request, which is legitimate.
