My reason for going Steam is I plan on retiring in May and will finally have the time to run a historical game along side my on going game I import from version to version. The ease of modding the game for historical play through Steam tips the scales in it's favor. I will miss the three day head start I get building my multitude of views and filters with the direct buy version  I'll get by knowing once I have my Steam version I will have unlimited play time 
One thing I took from the screenshot is a preview of how the stadiums are being updated with better models. It's a small thing but check out the infield dirt and you'll get a small look at what's to come. 
Like every year I can't wait to get my hands on the newest "best baseball game every made". Easiest game buying decision I make every year. |
Congrats. I retired in December and my silly smile playing as much OOTP as I want makes my son laugh.
