I highly doubt the core game was in development when the game was sold as all the development clearly has gone towards PT and packs over the past couple years. That's why they sold to this new company, to get more money. I don't blame the developers at all, it's what I would probably do. the market for people like us who post on the boards is almost unfathomably deep but incredibly narrow...that's no way to make a big business.
