I mean, plain and simple if it's clear that the game and its production is primarily steering towards microtransactions we will lambast them on the message boards, I will up and down urge people to never partake in the microtranscations, we will downvote the game into oblivion, we will spam every rating site with horrible reviews and we will abandon the management team.
I say this as somebody who has been playing for 15 years now.
I am insanely hopeful that we will not be abandoned. I do not want to hate this game or its direction. I want to love this game every year.
But turning this game into something it isn't and spitting in the face of those who have bought the game every single year would be consumer war.
I welcome the decision no matter what.
I will either continue to love this game into oblivion OR I'll do everything in my power to put it back on track.
