Better pay for players, less travel for players. Minor league owners now have rules they have to abide by for the facilities ... these are all huge wins for minor league players. The only cost is is a few jobs that weren't prospects but just organizational filler. Win! How many teams have actually lost baseball? So the local cities aren't greatly affected either. Appalachian league and Pioneer league totally saved just different setup now. Big chunk of the NYP league the same. Kane County, Tri City and Hagerstown to the indies. Teams will have stability in their association with MLB teams now with decade long contracts. I don't see hardly anything bad from this
