Baseball Reference calls this the Iron & Oil Association, but my source (
The Sporting Life, 3/26/1884) calls it the I & O League. There are some obvious errors in the printed schedule that I've corrected. For instance, New Brighton is listed as playing at home on June 31. I moved that game to July 31. The final day of the season, on which all of the teams play split double-headers, is listed as August 5. That was a Sunday, and Pennsylvania did not allow Sunday games at that time. I moved those games to Saturday, August 4. The only other Sunday date was a single game at Franklin versus East Liberty. I moved it to July 24.
