Tiburcio (3-1) allowed one run on four hits. He struck out nine and walked none.
Jose Ramirez hit a two-run homer off Monarchs starting pitcher Jose Buenrostro in the bottom of the first to stake the River Walkers to a 2-0 lead.
A four-run bottom of the fifth broke it open, making it 6-1.
Ramirez homered for a second time, a solo shot off reliever Greyson Rodriguez.
Jared Thomas made it a back-to-back with another homer.
Jose Segura capped the outburst with a two-run homer, Rodriguez being the victim of all three.
Nick Ruffalo pitched a 1-2-3 eighth for St. Louis.
Andres Hernandez followed suit in the ninth.
