Hello gang,

In late December, I kicked off a live start MLB season, but never progressed it. Over the past month or so, I’ve been keeping track of transactions since the end of the season and have applied to the file.

Attached you will find an updated MLB roster set for the upcoming 2021 season! My goal is to share this with the community if anyone has the itch to jump-start a season now.

Here are a few notes:

- Updated free agent signings as of early February

- Updated transactions, trades, player releases, etc as of early February

- Player ratings updated to not only reflect a shortened 2020 season. Some star players who had horrible 2020 seasons (such as Christian Yelich) have ratings that reflect their past performance, and not just a two month season. I probably did not catch every instance of this, but should feel somewhat normalized. Most MLB-caliber players are in the “40-60” range for overall rating.

What is mostly NOT updated:

- Majority of arbitration 2021 salaries

- Coaches, other personnel

- NRI

- New minor league baseball alignments

!!! IMPORTANT PLEASE READ !!!

- In order to successfully process the final 2020 season, please simulate the file a day forward. From there, the Dodgers should be named the 2020 champions. You will also notice a lot of odd things with teams showing playoff rosters (even though they have ended), etc on the team screens until you officially process past the end of the 2020 season.

- Be sure to review any players that might have been placed on waivers by the AI once you take over a team.

- Advancing one day forward will also set up the remaining “off season” normal game activities such as arbitration hearings, award voting, et al.

- After advancing, please make sure to adjust the playoffs, other MLB rules as you want them for the upcoming 2021 season.

- I have a MAC, so not sure league file is only compatible with MAC or all formats?

Again I am sharing this file with the community so all can enjoy some February pre-Spring Training baseball!

I am not here to field question(s) on why your favorite team/player is rated a certain way.
