A bit of a format change from this point on as writing the weekly review was simply taking too much time and slowing the rate at which the league was progressing. Now Ill just be listing the top performances for each day of the week plus a few other points of interest. I'll start posting each week's entry in its entirety here for the casual follower of the league. Glenn Secker (Baylor) and Dan Kelly (FSU) each with a homer and 5 ribbies in a wild 17-12 home win for the Seminoles.
Johnny Gorsica (Texas) 8 IP / 2 H / 1 ER / 10 K @ OSU.
Logan Neely (Tulane) 4-5 / HR [7] / 3 RBI as the Green Wave flog the Tar Heels 17-4 in New Orleans. But it comes at a price as 1B Jody Ognibene has his hand fractured by a pitch and will be out for at least 6 weeks.
Scott Stratton (Oregon State) 8.2 IP / 4 H / 0 ER / 7 K v UCLA.
David Dube (LMU) 8 IP / 8 H / 0 ER / 9 K to give the Lions their second straight home shutout win over San Diego.
