Trading AI
I would like to see a system where every player has a generic 'trade value' based on their ratings at that moment.
So for example Connor McDavid might start at 1000 and everyone else filters down from there.
In the trade screen you would see two numeric values beside each player, the generic trade value adjusted from each teams perspective, taking into account their scouts assessment of the player, the players status (top prospect, 1st round pick etc..) and both teams current depth and needs at that position.
As you add players to each side of the trade you would see a weighted balance based on these values from each teams perspective. Your head scout would give an opinion that the trade has X% chance of being accepted, rather than a vague 'hardly likely' etc...
The trade would have 100% chance of acceptance once it is weighted in the other teams favour based on their perspective values. At that point you can decide if it makes sense from your perspective.
Other tradeable assets like draft picks and salary/cap savings would also have a numeric value which would be factored into the trade.
To maintain realism you could have an option to hide or display these values when trading as desired.
