Erns Gold was 2 for 3, including a 1st-inning home run, with a walk, two runs, and three RBI. Bernie Gonzalez added a double and three RBI. Quentin Malone allowed just three earned runs on fie hits with two walks and seven strikeouts in 8.1 innings. The Synths managed five hits in the game with Crooked Tostado’s double in the 4th being the only extra-base hit.

The Ghouls held off a furious Cats’ 3rd inning, scoring six of the game’s final seven runs. Millioncap Go was 4 for 4 with a 1st-inning leadoff home run, a walk, five runs, and an RBI. Boots Yellowhair doubled and drove in three runs. Atom’s Ray McMillen hit a bases-clearing double in the 3rd to lead his team in RBI.
#10 Vault 81 5 vs #7 Salem 10
Eleven different Witch Hats had at least one hit of their 14 total. Chris Treestump and Antonio Toeclaw each homered for Salem. Vault 81’s Edwin Mass threw four wild pitches, contributing to three of his five runs allowed.

#9 Jamaica Plain 3 vs #8 Starlight 2, 12 innings
Goody Cloyse’s 12th-inning sacrifice fly drove in the winning run for the Red Rockets in the 12-inning affair. Starting pitchers Ryan Hartley of Jamaica Plain (8 IP, 2 ER) and Jonathan Newman of Starlight (6 IP, 1 ER) both pitched well. The Lady Killers’ Hubris McBride at the best day at the plate, going 3 for 5 with two home runs, a walk, two runs scored, and two RBI.
#12 Sunshine Tidings 12 vs #5 Quincy 6
The Chemists overcame a 5-0 deficit after the 1st inning by scoring seven in the 6th inning. Ryan Bobb went 3 for 5 with three runs and three RBI to earn Game MVP honors. Amari Nukes added three doubles and drove in three runs. Biggie Biggs had three hits for the Gunners. Sunshine Tidings’ Danny Beerholder got the win. In 5.0 innings, he allowed six runs, one earned, on six hits with a walk and three strikeouts.
#10 Finch Farm 11 vs #7 Egret 8
CF Cody Grime perhaps made his coming out party as the Four Leafs completed an underdog sweep on the day in the Battle for the South Tournament. Grime was 5 for 5 with two doubles, a home run, three runs, and four RBI. Kyle Boohoo led the Ninjas, going 3 for 5 with a home run, a run, and an RBI. Finch Farm totaled 18 hits in the game to 14 Egret hits.
