I may have continued something or left something out. Anyway, cryptic is. My sometimes "I" narrator is investigating the Mysterious Stranger in a better manner than Nick Valentine did. I wonder why "I" is not collaborating with Nick. What is "I's" M.O. here? What exactly is "I" doing with the information he is finding? Who is writing about baseball to the Mysterious Stranger? And what is the NC%? "I" thinks it stands for a pre-War place called North Carolina because that is all he could find in the Boston Common Library with any acronym of NC, but that % symbol must mean some letter or number is missing, no?
