Thank You For This Post Feature Disabled
Hi folks!
We just wanted to let you know that we've had to disable the 'thank you' feature for posts. This is because there were some security issues with it that hackers could exploit when attacking the forums.
Given that it appears there is not a update to the feature currently available that removes the vulnerability, we don't necessarily envision being able to reactivate the feature any time soon, unless there is an update to the forum software that comes along
We know this isn't a change for the better and lots of you will be very sad to see the feature go (myself first of all, as I was one of the most prolific thankers of posts in the community
) but it's unfortunately a necessary evil, at least for the time being.
If you like someone's post and agree with it, please feel free just to create a short response now and tell them.
