The Buffalo Bombers are here to play 4 games through the weekend and finish up our season series with them. They split a pair of games in Providence on Monday and Tuesday. We won 3 of 4 games in Buffalo, May 9-12. Their previously potent offense is now 13th in scoring with 3.57 runs per game, despite the fact that they play in the best hitter's park in the MLB and have played 58 of their 99 games at home (Jacksonville is #7 with 4.19). The Bombers are 7th in fewest runs allowed with 3.78, despite the fact that they play in the best hitter's park in the MLB and have played 58 of their 99 games at home (Jacksonville is #2 with 3.55). Other than their ace, Steve Cron, their rotation is nothing to brag about, but their Bullpen is 2nd in the MLB in ERA (2.61). Ours is 4th at 2.64. Pete Hudzik pops one up to shallow center that everyone stands around and watches drop for a hit... Tom Hamm pops out to 2nd for what should have been the third out, but is only the first... Frank Cohen grounds into a 1-6-3 double play!!
