Dan Krueger (L 4-13) went 4.1 innings, gave us 5 runs (4 earned), 9 hits, 1 home run, 1 walk and struck out no one. He threw a WP. At bat, he had a hit and an RBI. 13 K's one game and none in another!

For New Orleans, RF Franklin Sanchez had 2 hits with his 4th home run and 3 RBI.

The Pelicans announced that P Victor Espinoza (40-R), injured during the game, needs surgery on his elbow and is out for the year. He had already announced that he was retiring after this season, so I guess we just witnessed his last game. Why were they pitching a 40 year old in his 3rd straight game, anyway?

Fun Fact: Cal Doty did not hit a home run for the 4th straight game, but he had 4 hits and was named the Star of the Game for the 4th time in a row!
