Exactly. Trade difficulty won't impact your team's own AI GM. Even if it did, lowering it might actually cause your GM to make worse trades. When it's a human GM dealing with AI GMs, a difficulty setting of low means the AI GMs will often make terrible trades that are in the human's favor. If that applied to an AI GM of your own team, you might see some of the same results.
