Won - 7 to 2

We finish the season series with Columbus 6-2.
Can't complain about that, but we went 7-1 last year.

We had 10 hits and made 1 error
Columbus had 6 hits and made 1 error

Tommy Keyser (W 4-3) went 9 innings (CG), allowed 2 runs, 6 hits, 4 walks and struck out 3. 114 pitches. It is the first time that we have had back to back CG this season!

Pat Land (L 3-5) went 3 innings, gave us 6 runs, 6 hits, 2 home runs, 2 walks and struck out 6. He threw a WP. At bat, he had a hit.

2B Tony Weninger hit a double, drew a walk and scored 2 runs. CF/LF Cal Doty had 3 hits with a double and a triple, scored a run and had 3 RBI. RF Ray McDonald hit his 10th home run of the season and had 2 RBI. 1B Jack Washburn had a hit and 2 walks and scored a run. 3B Tom McDowell had 2 hits and stole a base. C Bob Hutson had 2 hits with his 5th home run, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBI.

Fun Fact: 15 of Bill Grant's 20 SV have come on the road, where he has an 0.41 ERA. All 4 of his wins have been at home, though. He has a 3.43 ERA at home in 21 IP with 23 SO. On the road, he has an ERA of only 0.41 in 22 IP, but his only run allowed gave him hus only loss and he has only struck out 12 batters. He leads the MLB in SV on the road.
