This is a cross-post from general, but does involve perfect team (at the bottom), care to help?
POST FROM GENERAL, THE PERFECT TEAM PART WILL BE THE FIRST COMMENT.
Wow, time has gone so slow. I thought for sure it was already 2021. How could I forget.
It's only been 2 months and 2 weeks, not 13 months, that obviously way off. This was our first christmas without my brother, but I know he was smiling down with all the conservation about him. I'm just going to re-paste my thread, now that I can think a little clearer then I could a few minutes ago.
So, we were huddled up tonight, a few days after Christmas, thinking what would my brother be doing right now? And, my parents went and did their thing, mainly looking at the cross in the backyard, that they put in remembrance.
I took a different approach. Before my brother passed, he was insistent on teaching me the ins and outs of perfect team, and ootp. He had notes upon notes that I didn't want to throw away. So, I kept them all, and it's a good flashback on what he was planning on doing with his teams. Brought back a lot of memories. The people, that have lost someone you're close to, you know the feeling.
So, I logged on to his perfect team, and broke out the pen and paper, and started doing what he would normally be doing. Listing his position players, and starting pitchers, and now that his coins have grown from not spending any in a year, I plan on upgrading his team with the 170,000 coins, and trying to win a league championship.
Looking at his team, he has 7 diamond batters, 3 diamond pitchers, and 1 perfect 100 pitcher, and 170k to work with to "buy" a championship team, yes, I'm going to Yankee it. He's currently in the Iron league, so I don't imagine it being too difficult, but I don't know?
This is going to be cross posted into the perfect team, so we can discuss players to obtain. So'll leave this part a little wonky.
PLEASE READ THIS FINAL PART
I hate to do this, but last round we raised $95, with Covid-19, late fees have been adding up on the credit card i opened up to pay for funeral services. If we could get some support going, getting this paid off and having the fees stop being generated, would be a god send, with all the current stress were all dealing with.
There were a lot of kind words in his inbox, I'm sorry I didn't reply to any of them. Like I said in the topic title, I haven't checked his account in october.
Thanks again!
