I'm running OOTP21 on a new M1 MBP via steam, and have about 35-40 hours into my first game. Suddenly, the application just terminated on me while it was backgrounded to do something else. First time that's happened since I downloaded this ~ 5 days ago, and I routinely backgrounded it during that time.

I restarted the game and went to load my most recent save, but the 'Continue game' option was greyed out, and when I go to 'Load Game' it says a message 'there are no league folders in your saved games folder.....' anyway I hit the 'Restore from backup' button and there's nothing there - no restores. No more saved game that it can see.

I repeatedly saved my games at regular intervals to avoid such an issue. I was not aware that in addition to saving it, you can or have to 'back it up'.... when I go to the OOTP directory I can clearly see my saved game data and my saved game folder.

Any idea how to correct? I would hate to lose on the 40 hours of this game that I have.... I'd probably just shelf the game altogether if that was the case. I have tried copying the .dat files from the autosave folder to the league / saved game folder, but that did not work.
