The two traits that I have seen to be bad when high are greed and controversy. Then add in low leadership, loyalty, work ethic and that's where you get your greed, disruptive, outspoken, and selfish players.
Now I have not played long but I like to play with numbers so I did sit and try and figure these out.
Leadership 150+ very good to have and 100+ is ideal
Work Ethic 120+ is very good and if you want a sparkplug on your team 160+
Greed the lower the better
Adaptability once again used for sparkplug 140+ needed
For leadership qualities it is leadership 100+, Loyalty 100+ and Work Ethic 100+ and for Captain you want that leadership 150+
Sparkplug is Work Ethic 160+, Adaptability 140+ and Controversy 80 or below.
Prankster is leadership 100+ and then Handle Success, Handle Failure, and Handle Critics are all 140+
And with some aspects that I have read, sometimes a players popularity can affect some things as well. That I have not played around with too much. I think that might be the FanFav personality which seems to be 110 Loyalty, 130 Work Ethic, and local popularity of popular+. Not sure what other traits are affected this way though.
