Spring training begins today, and Lee Maye became my first client to get an invite. His best shot to make the team seems to be as a center fielder or backup outfielder/pinch hitter. The Twins have relied primarily on Tony Armas in CF for the past three years since they acquired him in a trade from the Athletics. In those 3 years, he's hit a respectable .267 with 94 HRs, so Maye would have to impress to win the starting role. I think he has a solid chance of making the team, but probably as a bench bat.
