July 1, 1981

Mike Dornan had a solid month of June, hitting .309 for the month. On the season, he's now hitting .289 with 16 doubles and 4 homers in 70 games. He's got 40 RBI, 30 runs, 17 walks, and 12 Ks. He was called up today to the Padres' High-A team, the Reno Silver Sox, where he'll bat second and be in the DH role.

Chad continued to play fairly well for the Miami Orioles. In Miami, he's hit .304 with 12 RBI in 35 games. He's now hitting 6th, and his play in LF has actually been above average.

Matt Warnke has been horrible so far. In 7 games, he's made 6 errors at SS and is hitting .120. I think he'll turn it around and it's very early in the season, but I'm glad I got the commission on his signing bonus because he won't make much more money for me at this rate.

Qualls is hitting .235 with 1 HR so far, but he's only played 8 games. Too soon to tell anything really.
