Edmonton had the first pick in the MacKinnon draft and wasted it on Sean Monahan. St. Louis gets MacKinnon at 2. Domi to Nashville, Barkov to the Devils, and Bo Horvat to Ottawa round out the top five.
Schwartz has moved to play centre and will be between Landeskog and Pyatt. Sid is holding down the top line with Eberle and Henrique.
Once again, it’s pretty much Cup or bust for these Leafs. Now that they’ve won one, it’s time for Sid to cement his legacy by winning and winning a lot. So far, he, Ovechkin, and Kane have won Cups while Malkin, Backstrom, and Toews have not. Interesting.
