Would advise to avoid this league. Commish claims to want realism but allows ridiculous deals to go down left and right - many of which he participates in.
Several 'new to OOTP GMs' joined the league and the commish and various of his GMs buddies in the league took advantage of these new GMs and completely destroyed their franchises, including the commish. (Just take a look at the Toronto Blue Jays roster in the statsplus if you don't believe me). The commish starts the league as himself being the Dodgers, should have been a red flag right there.
The first trade made in the league was Mitch White straight up for Ken Giles, performed by the commish and a new GM. He then later edited the trade to add a low level garbage prospect when his conscience came to terms with the fact the the trade was completely lopsided. The Yankees later traded Jasson Dominguez to the same new GM for Bo Bichette and Jordan Groshans. The trade was voiced as lopsided, unrealistic and ridiculous by over 15 GMs but nothing was done about it except for criticizing the GMs who voted saying they shouldn't be in the other GMs business.
After several more lopsided trades happened, the commissioner then posted a message that other teams could contact himself and some of the other GMs who committed the lopsided trades for trade "advice" so they don't get ripped off more. How bout following your own advice and not making lopsided trade proposals to start with?
When this "advice" suggestion was raised as possible collusion and the fact that it could cause a bias if the team being asked for advice is also interested in said player or within same division, the two teams who protested these trades and issues were removed from the league. One of them being this Colorado GM and one being the Twins.
There are plenty of well run, organized, and competitive leagues, this is not one of them.
