My advice would be to stay the course with the current coach for now. Keep a close eye on not only the performance of these two but also their morale and relationships.
Obviously don't extend the current coach.
Take a close look at their progression through the minors and try to correlate their performance with the hitting coaches that they had. Also lefty/right splits and lineup spots should be analyzed to try to set them up as much as possible for success.
