The Pelicans sort of go 9 up, 9 down. With 2 outs in the 3rd, P Dan Krueger doubled to right, but thought it was a triple.

With 1 out, P Mike Marsh grounds a hit up the middle. Jack Washburn takes a 3-2 pitch for ball 4. Fernando Tello bloops the first pitch to left for a hit and the bases are loaded with 1 out. Cal Doty, who struck out looking in the 1st with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs, grounds a hit up the middle and 2 runs score!! 2 to 0, Jays! Ray McDonald grounds a hit to left and Tello scores! 3 to 0, Jays! The next two make outs.

Franklin Sanchez hits the first pitch off the wall in center for a triple... Victor Ocasio strikes out on 3 pitches! Tim Dawson grounds out to short and Sanchez scores. 3 to 1, Jays. The Pelicans load the bases up with 2 outs, but Jim Brister grounds out to 1st, 3-1!

Tim Dawson grounds a hit to right. With 1 out, Chuck Corrigan grounds the first pitch to right for a hit and Dawson beats the throw to 3rd. The Bullpen gets up. Wes Fitzgibbons beats out an infield hit and Dawson scores... 3 to 2, Jays. Jim Brister lines a hit to left and the bases are loaded with 1 out.... Al Loughin lines out to left and Fernando Tello fires to 1st to double off Brister!!

New Pitcher: All-Star Albert Davies (28-L). PH Jerry Rafanello (34-S), 3 for 5 with a double and 2 runs scored yesterday, lines the first pitch off the wall in left center for a double... Franklin Sanchez bunts the runner to 3rd. Victor Ocasio lines out to center and Rafanello tags up, but Cal Doty throws him out! And does not hurt himself!

New Pitcher: Keith Casebolt (27-L), who is 2-1 with 4 SV and a 5.28 ERA in 15.1 IP with 11 BB. Jack Washburn doubles to right and steals 3rd! Fernando Tello lines a hit to left and Washburn scores! 4 to 2, Jays! Cal Doty grounds out to 1st, 3-1, and Tello goes to 2nd. Ray McDonald beats out an infield hit! Tom McDowell flies out to deep left and Tello tags up and scores. 5 to 2, Jays! T.R. Hunter lines the first pitch to right center for a double! Bart Daw grounds a hit to left and McDonald scores! 6 to 2, Jays!

New Pitcher: 2-time All-Star Bill Grant (34-L). Dickie Stemen (30-R) is in to play center and Cal Doty moves to left. With 1 out, Al Loughin takes a 3-2 pitch for ball 4. With 2 outs, Franklin Sanchez pokes a hit to center. Victor Ocasio beats out an infield hit and the bases are loaded with 2 outs.... Tim Dawson draws a walk to force in a run... 6 to 3, Jays.
