Everyone knows that the equity returned in packs is heavily weighted from the few very high priced cards, and you need to open hundreds to thousands before a few of those trickle in unless you get quite lucky. PT21 is still better than PT20 for packs since there are more historicals still worth something, you would probably go infinite in the long run if you took the time to sell all historical golds+

I definitely know the odds are stacked against us on a standard pack in terms of getting good cards. But I just opened up another 50 plus packs from tourney winnings and while I got some decent returns with a couple diamonds and 7 or 8 golds...they were all live cards again. Talk about terrible luck, I don't think I ever opened so many packs without at least one gold historical card. On the very last pack (which was a gold pack), I did get a non-live Future legend gold card, but I think that was just out of random spite from the card generation gonkulator.
