Fred Heff beats out and infield hit and, with 1 out, P Kraig Park bunts him to 2nd. Tony Weninger lines the first pitch to center for a double and Heff scores... 4 to 1, Jays.

With 1 out, Ray McDonald knocks one off the fence in center for a double and steals 3rd! Fernando Tello pops one up to right, but the Gold Glover, Ron Alario, clanks it for an error and McDonald scores! 5 to 1, Jays! T.R. Hunter grounds into a 6-4-3 double play....

Kraig Park (L 3-1) went 5 innings, gave us 5 runs (4 earned), 8 hits, 1 home run, 1 walk and struck out 1.
LF Danny Rosas drew 2 walks. CF Cal Doty had 2 hits with a triple and scored 2 runs. RF Ray McDonald had 4 hits with a double and his 3rd home run of the season, stole 3 bases, scored 4 runs and had 4 RBI. 3B Fernando Tello hit his 3rd home run of the season. 2B T.R. Hunter hit a double and had an RBI. C Bob Hutson had 2 hits.
Down on the Farm: Ernesto Noyola (25-R) pitched a 2 hit shutout for Daytona Beach (A) at Lexington. He walked 2, hit a batter and struck out 6. He is now 2-3 with a 4.76 ERA. We still have hope our 4th round pick from the 2002 B Leagues Draft will be a decent pitcher for us someday, but so far he is 3-7 with a 5.29 ERA in 14 starts (15 G) for the Jays (in 2002-03) and 15-33 with a 5.05 ERA om 62 starts (67 G) for Daytona Beach.
