I was able to knock out group 21 this afternoon/evening as well.

Top of the bracket:

One of the quieter top halves thus far.

131) 2017 Astros over 2396) 1902 Orioles 4-0 = Alex Bregman .600 (12-20) 3-8
No sign stealing necessary for Houston in this series, as this Baltimore team was ripped apart by defections to the New York Giants during this season. As a result, the pitching here is awful and shorthanded. The Astros ended up scoring 70 runs over the 4 games. The stars in addition to Bregman: Yuli Gurriel .647-1-10, Carlos Correa .550-2-5, Marwin Gonzalez .529-1-8, including 7 RBI in game 2, George Springer .364-3-12.

The Gashouse Gang unexpectedly had their backs up against the wall by a strike shortened unit from Chicago, A 3-3 series saw Bill Buckner homer early in game 7, but that was all for the Cubs, and Collins hit a 2 run shot in the 6th to give the series to the Redbirds with a 2-1 victory. Terry Moore drove in 10 during the series.

135) 1955 Yankees over 2392) 1975 Tigers 4-0 = Ron LeFlore .650 (13-20) 1-3
A rare series MVP from the losing squad, LeFlore was on base the entire series, but hitters behind him could do nothing. Whitey Ford won his game, but this time as much for what he did at the plate, hitting 2 homers and driving in 5. Mickey Mantle also hit 2 longballs in the series.

136) 1939 Reds over 2391) 1931 White Sox 4-0 = Wally Berger .533 (8-15) 1-4
137) 1948 Indians over 2390) 1939 Athletics 4-0 = Larry Doby .471 (8-17) 1-4

Bottom of the bracket:

The seeds held in this group. Just one 7 gamer here.

1128) 1910 Red Sox over 1399) 1971 Reds 4-0 = Tris Speaker ..412 (7-17) 1-5
1129) 1914 Senators over 1398) 1971 White Sox 4-3 = George McBride .407 (11-27) 7 rbi
1130) 1966 Cardinals over 1397) 1970 Astros 4-2 = Orlando Cepeda .346 (9-26) 6 rbi
1131) 1970 Mets over 1396) 1970 Tigers 4-1 = Cleon Jones .500 (11-22) 6 rbi
In this battle of the 2 previous World Champions, the defending Amazin’s claimed the battle. Donn Clendenon hit 3 homers over the first 2 games, and a guy named Seaver threw 2 complete games, allowing 1 run in each while striking out a total of 20.

1132) 1971 Cubs over 1395) 1968 Twins 4-1 = Fergie Jenkins 1-0 0.54 16.2 IP 13 K
Phil Regan “vultured” the win blowing the save for Jenkins in game 1, as Billy Williams beat a throw home off of pinch hitter Brock Davis’ grounder to 2nd., then won game 2 in the 11th as Ron Santo hit a walkoff homer. Jenkins finished the series with a game 5 shutout.

1133) 1971 Mets over 1394) 1963 Tigers 4-1 = Ed Kranepool .450 (9-20) 2-9
Tom Seaver pitched a shutout in game one and got the decision in game 5, also hitting a solo hr to help himself. He struck out 15 over 16 ⅔.
