Bottom of the First
Charlie Faber flies out to deep center. Tommy Adams grounds out to 2nd. Cal Doty swings at a 3-2 pitch and grounds out to short....

Leo Toruno lines a hit to center. With 1 out, Nestor Gonzalez grounds a hit to right and Toruno beats the throw to 3rd.... Steve Gress swings at a 3-2 pitch and misses! Ron Alario takes a 3-2 pitch for ball 4 to load the bases up with 2 outs.... Fred Heff strikes out! #7 on the day for P Jim Baucom!

New Pitcher: Jim Sutton (34-L), 7-2 with 5 SV and a 3.84 ERA in 86.2 IP. Ray McDonald grounds into a force at 2nd, 4-6, but they cannot turn the double play and Adams scores. 3 to 0, Jays!
