Trudy has cleared 2B Charlie Faber (33-R) to play finally, so he was activated from the DL and 2B Junior Danielson (33-R) was sent back to Daytona (A).

New Pitcher: All-Star Albert Davies (27-L). Rick Halverson doubles to right... The Bullpen hops back up. We walk Dave Jay intentionally.... Shigeru Nagata bunts the runners up. PH Al Chase (32-R), who was 0 for 1 yesterday, but is hitting .347 on the year, is sent up. Call to the Bullpen: Robbie Hopley (30-R). Charlie Faber grounds his fourth hit of the day up the middle! PH Leander Gooding (33-R) is sent up. Play is stopped for 21 minutes. Gooding beats out an infield hit and the bases are loaded with no outs! Cal Doty grounds into a force at 2nd, 4-6, and Thompson scores and Faber goes to 3rd. 8 to 5, Barons. Tom McDowell grounds into a 4-6-3 double play.... I am thinking that he is no Marty Eades....
