Jacksonville Jays (89-40 .690 15.5 GA in 1st place in the Southern Division)
NO: Terry Henry (33-R) (6-8 5.22 ERA 119 IP, 153 H, 8 HR, 52 BB, 62 SO)
JAX: Jim Baucom (23-L) (23-2 1.56 ERA 218.2 IP, 140 H, 8 HR, 30 BB, 210 SO) All-Star(3: 02-04)
We have faced Henry once this season and he beat us, even though we scored 4 runs on 9 hits and 3 walks with 2 strikeouts on 5 innings.
Baucom gave up 4 runs on 3 hits, 1 home run and 2 walks with 10 strikeouts in 7 innings last time out in a loss. He would seem to be a heavy favorite today, but we have been shut out by Henry before...
