He scored on a one-out double by Jose Segura.
The game's only other run came in the bottom of the second, rookie Rick Scott hitting his 20th home run of the season with a lead-off bomb off Kuhn Jr.
Rookie Ron Peterson pitched a 1-2-3 eighth inning.
Kevin Maitan doubled off Cory Tiller to lead off the ninth, but was doubled off second base when Emmanuel Feron lined out to shortstop Jean Carmona.
Tiller then got Lewis Brinson to fly out to sew up his second save of the season.
