This, of course, is opinion.
Almost certainly the prevailing opinion on the OOTP forum for what should be obvious reasons.
What it is that you like (and don't like) about SOM may inform how you'll like OOTP.
OOTP and SOM are different games
Some will prefer one.
Others will prefer the other.
A lot of people play them both and enjoy them both.
And, to complete the though, some people don't like either.
