Absolutely. I've completed a dozen or so OOTP historical replays (including 1908 and 1920) and not only are the results "truer" than is SOM's (or APBA's), but if you throw in the far deeper stat package, much better CM, plus the eye candy and there just isn't much comparison, imho.
