It still doesn't make sense that a team in my own league (and one that I can't manage to beat) could acquire a player in his prime from another team in my league for $38,500. That 25 y.o. player is also having a fairly strong season. I can't touch a similar player and strike a deal with other teams in my league, even when some of these players on those teams are due to be free agents at the end of this season (2020). My offers are rejected similar to the examples I posted previously. There are four days left until the transfer deadline and I'd like to fill that hole. Players in this league seem to move around a lot on one and 2-year deals, so I'm trying to be mindful to extend contracts to a few key players before season's end. Anyway, just seems like there's a bias in the way the AI allows the team I control to acquire transfers versus how the other teams I don't and who can seemingly stack their roster. I also still haven't been able to acquire a transfer of players from any league, even when I offer more. Offer is still rejected. Something's buggy.
